Who we are

Who
We
Are

We are here to help people discover and develop a functional relationship with God through Jesus Christ, who by his death and resurrection, secured forgiveness and salvation for humanity. “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:12. Salvation, not just from sins, but from a life of miseries and waste. This is the greatest blessing from God to mankind and it's our honour to be called to share this good news.

Having a relationship with God is very vital for our lives. It is not a religious exercise in that sense, and you are not being delusional if you embrace him in your life. It is a love walk and the love of God is the truest and purest! You can’t find it anywhere else. We invite you to come, taste and see that the Lord is good.

He is interested in us because he loves us dearly. He wants to be involved in our everyday living – career, family, business. If we would learn to respond to his invitation, he wants to give life in abundance. John 10:10. To the hurting, he wants to "give beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness." Isaiah 61:3. To the bruised, he wants to restore their self-esteem and dignity. He wants to break the cycle of generational problems, trauma, and addiction that have plagued many lives, plus a whole new beginning.

Welcome to the Godkind of life!

Opeyemi Afeni

Opeyemi is a missionary cum lawyer based out of Edmonton. He combines his spiritual calling and profession to serve his generation. He has learnt from the Bible that the life of a man is encapsulated in the God who made him, and that man can never find fulfilment outside of God, no matter how much he tries. He commits himself to this biblical teaching. Since moving to Canada, his greatest desire for the nation is to see the hearts of Canadians awaken to the God who loves them. He and his wife, Eunice, have two children. Together, they pioneered BlessingEdmonton to preach the good news of Jesus and to raise disciples who will in turn fulfil their callings and impact the society positively.
